When landlord David started out on his Waterworks pub journey his mission was to serve local products and when the Waterworks brewery was opened this became even easier as its beers joined the other ales from an easy journey to the pub. So it was no surprise when branch members voted it Locale Pub of the Year for 2023 to add to the many other awards the pub has gained in a short time.
