Family and dog friendly locals' pub dating from the 1850s that welcomes people from all age groups. Home made food is served in a separate eating area. Traditional games feature strongly and the pub participates in the local Petanque league. Sometimes offers beer from Old Dairy or Long Man breweries. Rumoured to have a friendly ghost known as Captain White.
